New Year's Day - 1Day Out Fun Walk at One Utama

The still-not-so-well me and the pretending-to-sleep-boy in the new jogger! :) (I thought he was asleep until I looked at this photo again and noticed his eyes were not completely shut. I wasn't too well yet but was determined to sweat it out. Hence the jacket (and I didn't really sweat either, funnily) but the shoes....haha running shoes in another car but went in a different one. Oh well, luckily I wore crocs, otherwise mampus-lah!

Lots of activities after that, but will only start at 11am. I was very tired after the 4.5km walk and wasn't in the mood to wait. It was only 9.30am then. And the fact that we had plans for later in the day made me want to just go home and rest the legs as they just felt extremely achy.

In the evening - beach-day! postponed from the day before because I was unwell. His first experience with sand castles etc on the beach. Bagan Lallang beach was so full of people we were surprised.

And the lil' girl who had to enjoy the beach from here instead.

Chasing after soap bubbles and enjoying himself! Luckily he didn't kick up a fuss when we asked him to go shower and go home. He was tired.

It was a good start to the new year.

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year folks!

Many things happened.

Stupid annoying cough just can’t leave me alone!

Woke up on the new year eve holiday feeling down as ever. Head pounding, dizzy and was feverish! Oh boy, there goes plans for the day. At least it was a holiday, no need for last MC of the year, I guess. Then it reminded me of 31st August 2010 when I was also down and out! What’s with these public holidays?

On 31 Dec, I woke up to a pestering lil’ boy who refused daddy’s offer to wash him (and his poo-poo) but insisted that I did. Sat him on my lap (I just couldn’t stand up) talked to him, explained to him and persuaded him to go with daddy. After a while, I plonked him on daddy’s lap and he was fine.

2 hours later I was no better, except I moved from the bed to the sofa. My on-off affair with the TV (dominated by playhouse Disney and the likes) with a slice of bread or two and I fell asleep again. Till lunch. After lunch, I felt slightly better, but 1 hr later, I was zonked out again. Woke up in the evening still no mood for anything. Still not 100% ok.

What a day!

Beach outing for the kids postponed to the nextday.Thought about the fun walk I was supposed to go with AIR1 on new year’s day. Dunno if am up to it. Slept well before new year! Missed all the fireworks which can be seen from the balcony.

And today, 3 Jan my eyes are super-tired, which I've never experienced before. It's literally got its mind of its own. I'm not sleepy, but my eyes are. Serious. And my photos for my other posts are not here so posts delayed ;p

Have a great year ahead!

30th Dec 2010

Alaaaa the title not glamourous enough lah... but anyway, today the atmosphere everywhere is about football and new year and of course, public holiday tomorrow! Yippeee! For someone who was going to work 'diligently' until new year, this came as a really good news!

But then, holiday so now what should I do? Sleep in? Don't even dare think about it! AIR1 will be awake latest by 730am, if I'm lucky (no matter what time he goes to bed the previous night) so if I think I want extra snooze time, hub will have to wake up early.

I never watch Malaysian football, but yesterday was totally different. Still stuck in the jam due to heavy rain, I was keeping my fingers crossed that I would reach home in time to watch it. Alas, when I actually settled what I had to do it was 30mins into the 1st half.

Already past AIR1's bedtime and still no signs of him wanting to zzzz but already very tired, I asked him if he wanted to sleep yet. No! OK lah, I happily watch the match till the end!

Wasted-lah. We should've won even playing on foreign land. Then it will prove to people that we are not just 'juara kampung' (local champions). But anyhow, the cup is ours after 14 years!

Go Harimaus! 2010 will be a year many Malaysians will remember for many years to come!

I hope my 'uhuk-uhuk-uhuks' will go away just as sudden as it appeared this morning! I wanna bike-run this weekend!!

2011

Time flies. Felt like I was pregnant with AIR2 only recently but she's already 6 months now. And AIR1? He'll be 2 in Jan!

Gosh!

So what have I planned for 2011?

1x21km, 1x tri and many 10kms. hopefully it wil materialise. Keeping the 42km for another time, perhaps or when my knee feels better. And for each 10km event, I will bring either AIR along in each 10km run of mine! :) (target lah, dunno how many percent will materialise yet)

1xholiday with family (yes, holiday, balik kg is no holiday and that is what we have been doing all this while and end up no more leave left for a REAL holiday ;p)

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Welcome 2010!

It’s the new year. New beginnings? Erm, dun think so….not for me at least, but I do hope it’ll bring better things for the year ahead.

No new beginnings – why? Am still with the same job, still living under the same roof with my beloved family and still driving the same car. All from last year. It may have been new last year, with a new addition to the family right at the start of the year, but this year, no, not yet….soon…

Looking forward to new and better things to come. It can be anything. And hope with that, and God’s grace, I will be able to provide for myself, my family and even my parents with what they would like to have for the new year.

So what have I achieved in 2009? A more stable job, I suppose. Got wiser in a few aspects in life and well, became a mother to a really cheeky lil’ fella, and perhaps in the process, killed many brain cells. ;p

So here’s to 2009 and the new 2010!!

Hungry....Happy New Year!

It has been rather ‘interesting’ for me this past 1-2 weeks. Not so much the activities which have been going on, but more of my eating/meal time patterns.

One day I’ll be eating normally, i.e. breakie, then perhaps an in-between snack, then lunch, then something to keep me awake and dinner. Portions are normal. Then suddenly the next day, it will be the same, but I just can’t seem to down my dinner. Then the day after, breakie is a minimum without the snack….and this pattern changes daily. All will change except lunch. Lunch would seem to be the only normal meal. And today, again, breakfast seems to not able to go into my tummy. Hmmm nevermind, I’ll just have to adjust and live with this for the next 27 weeks…

I find it rather strange having this weird eating patterns as previously I was just walloping whatever I wanted whenever I felt hungry….

Anyways, Happy New Year everyone! May the New Year bring all the best that you’ve ever wanted!

Awal Muharram

Happy New Year to all Muslims!

I'm not happy as I have to work today, while the whole of Malaysia is on holiday. If it was just Selangor I wouldn't mind. Darn!

It would've been nice to sleep in as it was rainy and gloomy and cosy...

And it was probably a once in a year thing to have so few cars on the dreaded LDP in the morning. I could've counted the number of vehicles.

Nevermind. Another 2 days and it's gonna be 2009!

Happy New Year everyone!
